Be My Valentine

Late in posting my Valentines Day blip. But it was lovely. No big fuss; no scrambling for dinner; no rushing to get all our plans in. A nice, relaxing, Valentines Day with just us and the dogs. Slept in, took the dogs out to the trails, and went to the gym (even though we both didn't really want to but were glad we did).

I finally found a little gift for hubby. Picked up a DVD that I thought he would like (made sure to keep the receipt, just in case...) and he really liked it.

"You did good. I liked this one and thought about buying it," he said.

"I got lucky. I didn't know you'd already seen it," I confessed.

We thought about going out to dinner, but since hubby's was not feeling great, I decided we'd just stay in for the night, watch some TV and cuddle. He fell asleep by 8 PM. This is the part when he's reading this where he'll say "I woke up at 9!" and that's true. But he needs to get plenty of rest so he cab kick whatever bug he's trying to fight off.
