vintage Vogue

I was searching through my big box of patterns today when I found this vintage Vogue one. It was one of my mum's patterns and must go back to the late 50s/early 60s. She made quite a few from this pattern and I remember one she made for me when I was a kid - it was made of cuddly cream fabric with a satin lining and she added big pom-poms on either end. It was so warm and soft and I loved it. Looking at it I think it would be nice to make one up now. I've always liked the illustrations on the front of old patterns. Note the price of 3/6 (in old money), about 17.5p now.
