With both hands

'Grabbing it with both hands' Sara said on my blip yesterday and here's Elsa grabbing it with both hands today.

She's performing at Hackney Empire this evening with her drama school. We come to this lovely theatre nearly every year for the panto and one year Elsa whispered to me "I'd love to perform here one day". And here she is, living out her dream, lucky girl.

I've been helping backstage all day and I have discovered that just trying to get 170 kids from 6 dressing rooms to the side of the stage, miked up and un-miked at the right times and in the right order and wearing the right costumes is, it turns out, quite a task. So all praise to the team for getting this whole shebang on the road.

Just nipping home to change now before returning for the performance with doting grandparents, family and a proud smile. Have a lovely evening peeps, will get to your journals tomoz.
