Walking day

An early start as R wanted to climb a munroe to look for an elusive snowy owl. We did get going as early as intended. Did make it up a munroe. First one I have climbed in ages. Cairngorm. An easy one. We were going to go on to do another one and then look for the bird but too late in day and for our fitness. So headed to abernethy forest instead to look for another bird. Good chance for me to look for a blip. Mist had cleared. The sun was out and the first autumn colours beginning to show. Home now. Shower food well deserved glass of wine, before heading to see the 50th anniversary fireworks for the forth bridge.
