Boscastle Blow Hole
We sat for ages today at the harbour entrance in Boscastle watching the 'Blowhole'. It was amazing to watch. The noise was fascinating of the water rushing in, and then being forced out of the hole in the cliff. I liked this photo because you can make all sorts of shapes from the water spray.
I do think budding composers have missed a great opportunity of not composing a piece called 'Boscastle Blowhole', because after all there is a famous piece called Fingal's cave written by Felix Mendelssohn after he had visited there and heard the sounds of the waves within the cave. So I am sure a suitable composure could be created called the Boscastle Blowhole.
Also, the blowhole is just below the head of Queen Victoria, so could it be Queen Vic's blowhole?
