please don't write your name in it

Kids off school today so I asked them to do a couple of jobs around the house (in between watching TV and fighting with each other).

No1 son avoided most but managed to sweep the stairs and put the recycling out.

No2 son is good at hoovering and takes great pleasure in hoovering the door mat since he discovered that if you hoover it upside down all the dust comes out and lies in a rectangle!

He used the Dyson hose to write his Menchie on the dining room floor.

Made me think of a fridge magnet my aunt has that says -
"You can touch the dust, but please don't write your name in it."

House work is such a wonderful thing you should always leave lots of it for tomorrow.
