The way ahead

Suddenly the Scottish Referendum campaign has moved into top gear.

As I walked along this well-trodden path on our local hill, Dumyat, this evening it crossed my mind that it is symbolic of Scotland’s road ahead.

Nobody can see around the corner and both sides are asking us to have faith in their vision, except the “no” campaign do not seem to have a vision, except a negative one.

The pollsters tell us the odds are 50-50 and one newspaper pundit tells us to stop betting on it like a horse race.
