Rugby in the park
The rugby season kicked off last week but today's match was the first home game for Pontypool and I was keen to get to the Park to watch it. They were playing Llanharan, which isn't far from where I live - and convincingly beat them 32 - 13!
I realise I'm probably biased but Pontypool Park is one of the most beautiful settings for a game of rugby, especially at this time of year. The trees are just starting to turn as you can see but, in a couple of weeks, there'll be a warm huddle of autumn colours around the ground. I hope I can get to a match to see that.
