Mini Kelpie

Today was the 8 Person Relay, a Scottish inter-club orienteering competition, held at the Falkirk Wheel. It was also the venue for the Scottish Junior Inter-Area competition, so it was a fun afternoon. Once again it was warm and still, and our club ESOC won the competition. We had three teams and I was in the second ESOC team to finish, although I don't know our place overall. Once it finished I went to the basin at the bottom of the wheel to get a suitable blip. Luckily the small kelpies are now at the Falkirk Wheel and provided a suitable shot. Yesterday's blip, was today the meeting place for those bastions of democracy, the Orange Order, before they held a march in support of the union. Together with Nigel Farage and the main political parties they seem odd bedfellows. Not sure they do the No vote any favours.
