The Untied Kingdom.....

In light of the way things may (or may not) go on Referendum Day, we took the opportunity to go abroad for the weekend.

We crossed the as yet unmanned border (just as well - our EU passports may not be legal after next week) into England, where we spent every £ sterling in our bank accounts, just in case the groat suddenly becomes the legal tender of the Republic of Scotland - there's nothing worse than having a load of useless foreign coins rattling around in your knicker drawer.....
