Not the type of spa you're thinking of, but the equivalent of our RSPCA rescue centres at home. It was the centre in Piégon's 50th anniversary so they had a wee fun day. We got to see all the dogs they have at the moment, including this teckel who I wanted to take home with me :)

We entered their tombola and got a phone call tonight to say we've won something (not sure what!) and we can pick it up next week :)

Cooked all afternoon which was great. Made a raspberry mascarpone trifle-esque dessert and a roasted red pepper and chorizo tart (with spelt pastry). Pics here.

Had friends round to eat this evening and then, after dinner, they kicked our asses at pétanque :)
