Fine day on socks

The old and historic airstrip at Harbour Grace is a favourite location for berry picking. We made our annual pilgrimage to pick blueberries on the Labour Day weekend and came back with several litres. This weekend the favourable weather forecast enticed us to return for a few litres more. The berries are still plentiful but are starting to become over-ripe; so much so that my finger tips were quite blue by the end of the day!
