This morning Miles anxiously waited on the front porch for Grandpa C and Mimi to pick him up. Even though Uncle Timmy and Auntie Beth couldn't come down (darn Seattle construction), Miles still had fun in Vancouver this morning while mama got some stuff done and rested.

When he woke up from his nap we made a huge train track and then we walked to the park. This is truly the summer that won't end. I think I'm the only person who is ready for cooler weather. This belly is heater enough. He was such a good listener tonight that he got to enjoy another one of his cookies after dinner.
