Four Generations

I went to say cheerio to my Auntie Nessie today as she is off back to Canada on Tuesday. She's 86 and spends her summers in Scotland. Last year she extended her stay from April to September as we had such a lovely summer - this year she's glad to get back to Vancouver Island and some sunshine. I think it's fantastic that she still has such an appetite for travel - a couple of years ago she went home via Australia and New Zealand dropping in on some of my antipodean cousins.

I snapped this picture using the timer for the first time. Niece (me), Auntie Nessie, great niece Julie and great, great niece Hope.
