Sleepover party mama duty was changed to soccer mama duty right after the last guest left our house. The afternoon on the road was hot almost +30C and our destination Chilliwack surrounded by mountains felt like a popcorn kettle. The sixteen year olds played well nevertheless and did their best! And we hit the highway with style, with a broken air conditioner, all windows open and radio's volume adjusted so that I probably would have missed an approaching airplane.
