Half Way

Alf's 12th birthday today so up a little early for prolonged present opening. He's quite the most fantastic chap, occasionally quite hard work but overall a brilliant boy.

We walked into town, around town and through town and ended up sitting by the sea for a bit. Clearly there is only so much sitting about I can cope with so we went to the pub where Oysters were eaten. A few of the children tried them for the first time, Joe really enjoyed his ;)

Back to the house for a BBQ and a few drinks and then games and singing, pretty perfect sort of day really..
