I feel the need to edit this because, on re-reading, i could sound anti-muslim which I am definitely not

I was a very long way away when I took this, so not intrusive.

I found being made to wear a scarf in a mosque more intrusive especially when surrounded by people who just seemed interested in taking selfies.

All the time in the Blue Mosque I had to fight the urge to tear off my scarf and shout "I am a woman and I have hair. Get over it!"

I have always felt uncomfortable entering churches as a tourist but felt obliged whilst here in Istanbul to visit 2 of the major mosque sites. I think I should stop now.
