A thousand for Yes..

When today's Sunday Herald arrived, I was amazed by the wrap around cover with around a 1000 "selfies" of campaigners. I remember some days ago the appeal by the paper to send in "selfies", and so I set too to see if I could find myself.

You must know those kind of moments when suddenly something comes to mind? I had one when I suddenly remembered I had forgotten to send in my selfie. Another chance of fame gone!

I was particularly pleased however to see an article in the paper from my old friend Neal Ascherson. He is such a brilliant writer. I'd better read it carefully as I will be seeing Neal tomorrow evening at a book launch.
