Lochindorb beach
Another beautiful day! The colours at Lochindorb were lovely. At the bridge there was a roe grazing alongside the burn, who was unaware of any presence. I was walking to the estate house thinking about the book, 'The key above the Door' written by Maurice Walsh in 1926 about this house and area. He was an Irish writer, great friend of Neil Gunn, the great Scots writer. His work is fascinating to anyone interested in this area, as it shows how things were at that time. It is dated in style but so charming and readable.
