Bridge over the River Test at Bere MIll Whitchurch

We visited a wonderful garden and old mill beside the River Test in Hampshire today. I thought this bridge although built from large railway sleepers looked quite elegant holding itself in place with just the pressure from the central sleepers. Yes it was bolted along each side to lovely wrought iron straps but that was probably more to do with health and safety than really needing to be there.
