Saltaire's secret allotments!

Another lovely day at the Saltaire Festival, my Dad even popped along for an hour or two!
I've been visiting Saltiare probably 2 or 3 times a month for the past 30 years - and I never knew about their allotments! They are tucked away down a lane between The Mill Building and the Church. The lane is usually gated and locked to the public due to vandalism and theft …. I know! :(
But today the allotments were open as part of the Open Gardens initiative of the Festival. What a haven of organic loveliness! :)
