We caught this big old engine between Stirling and Larbert this evening. She was fairly licking along with a good train of coaches in tow. Maybe the next time she comes this way, she will be wearing the old Midland Crimson Lake paint scheme. So much more stylish.
A much cooler day but it is September after all.
The hip is a bit sore now, maybe I have pushed things a little too far. Tomorrow will be a better day!
