Day off

We went up to the allotment to do a lot more tidying up. On our way home I was startled to see the colourful but closed doors of the Port o' Leith, which is a Leith institution and is almost always open (and this was taken around 2.30 pm). A bit worrying; but a brief rootle in the social media revealed that it was simply closed all day today so that the staff could have a day out. I'm sure they've earned it.

The foliage in the foreground is the mini allotment tub, still looking very lush. There are even a few tomatoes ripening....
