Scullcap
Scutellaria baicalensis, flowering profusely as it has done for a while now.
Grown from seed, I don't know much about it so this is what wiki has to say: 'It is one of the 50 fundamental herbs used in traditional Chinese medicine, where it has the name huáng qín (Chinese: 黄芩). As a Chinese traditional medicine, huang qin usually refers to the dried root of S. baicalensis'
In the garden here it's about 10" high with branching stems bearing many of these deep blue flowers. In it's second year it seems to be perennial :-)
