Funny Old Tractor

Jumped out of the car on the side of the road to take some twilight photos of this mysterious beast and the camera failed after 4 shots, one of which was out of focus and really that left me with 2 "not ready to take my proper shot yet" photos.
Had to give up and get moving, kids to transport, and sort out camera later. Anyone else had trouble with the canon battery connection? It often fails after the battery has been re-inserted adn I dont know why or how it fixes itself. Very frustrating. Faulty micro switch has been suggested but that would mean sending camera- only camera- to canon for a service which takes 3 weeks. Dont know how my blip self could cope with that!
