Symi - Day 8

Boat trip day today, 8 hours on a slow chug around to the other side of the island via a few remote coves for a swim or two and a bbq. Excellent company, as always, on the Diagoros (highly recomended). Around 30 trippers, split pretty evenly between danes and english. The smallness of the boat and the laid back nature of the whole affair makes making new friends not just easy but unavoidable. Among those on board were a danish rock star from the 60's, a professor, a photog, graphic desinger (x2) and one other Blipper. However, most impressive of all was Gabrielle, our captain here. He lost his wife two weeks ago and still managed to pull on a smile and be the perfect host today.
