Gone fishing

Armed with just a fishing net, bucket, frizbee and packed lunch we hit the beach to make the most of the unseasonal September sun. Paddled in the pond like sea, fished in the rock pools (caught 4 fish, 2 hermit crabs and something freaky), and built a dam that was eventually reclaimed by the sea.

Then off to dirleton cattle to meet friends. While the girls chatted the boys charged all over the castle playing soldiers, hide and seek and rolly pollies into the moat.

Chinese for tea. A pretty good day!
