My Life With Luna

Ring of Fire

These little beauties were a welcome sight as I walked round the garden this morning after a week away.
The ferry crossing was brilliant, the Irish Sea calm as a millpond and the journey back from Cairnryan to Scotch Corner was excellent until we found that the slip road to the A1 was closed for road works. So after a diversion of many miles back northwards we were eventually diverted across country to the A19 to come back south. It was made all the more difficult in the dark and on roads we had never travelled on before. We originally estimated we would get home around 12.30am, we actually arrived home at 2.30am, a journey of 18 hours. Hence a garden blip today and a bit of relaxation before work beckons in the morning!
