A hole lotta fun

A lovely, if accidental, afternoon at Dirleton Castle, I was headed for Tantallon Castle because we've never been there but I took a wrong turning. We decided to stop for our picnic at Dirleton as hunger was setting in and ended up staying as they had a weaponry demonstration which was both fascinating and gruesome. The boys were suitably impressed.
Scooter Boy found this hole in the wall which I suspect was once caused by a cannonball.
It was lovely to get out of the city although the plan to escape referendum overkill didn't quite work out as every village we passed through had a stall of both persuasions, usually right next to one another!
