France: Day Three.
Huge blow, Asterix was closed unexpectedly, which meant no theme park trip, and a third day having to entertain ourselves, of course we went swimming, which we did every day bar one, hello fit and healthy. (In theory, if you ignore the endless baguettes and croque monsieurs, which I must say if you ever have the chance to have one, you must. Brought some home to treasure, however little time they may last.)
We were totally gutted, which meant we ended up on site doing similar things, went to the play parks and went on walks, then bought tacky lighters from the gift shop, you know, the usual.
My dad suggested we go horse riding instead of going to Asterix since it was closed, which would all be well and good, if I wasn't terrified of horses. But I agreed to it because Bex wanted to. That's a story for tomorrow I think.
But yes, another day in the beautiful village of Vic Sur Aisne, my favourite place in the world. It's my home away from home, has been since I was a mere 6 years old.
How strange that I was ever only 6 years old. Now i'm almost 20.
