Flashback

Spent the day on various garden duties. Feed the bees; fenced the sheep; watered the snake; picked plums. For light relief I tricked off to Lasswade for a game of squash, and then came back to cook the tea. Roast beef followed by baked apples (Arthur Turner) - yum.

The party site in the garden is looking a bit forlorn. The tipis ate gone, the bar is closed and the coloured lighting has gone back to it's home. The stage is keeping the straw bales dry and it will be a while before I have time to get them onto the barn roof.

The white plastic chair, though, is a traditional garden ornament and will stay there till next year.
