Meet Mr and Mrs Scaup.....

Back to Dogpark this morning.Lovely morning before cool wind came up. I am still checking the lake for new babies....none yet but Mr and Mrs Scaup were there. Top is male scaup- he has a yellow eye and lovely green head. Bottom is female Scaup- no yellow eye and she has a white area on face if in breeding mode. They are a native diving duck of NZ
