Meerkat

Not in the wild but next best. At Nelson's Natureland which is very fortunate to have two meerkat, sisters. We got there 5 minutes before feeding time so they were looking out for the keeper to arrive with some mealy worms. Just a snack to keep them going. They are every bit as attractive in real life as on the tv screen although smaller than what I thought. Water dragons, turkeys, llamas, tuatara,a yak and all manner of other wildlife made this a tough competition today but my first meerkat was special.
