waiting

Waiting, longing, expectantly hoping for the king
To come in power.
Walking, loving, dependently living by His grace
Every day and every hour.

King of love
Lord of life
I am waiting for you Lord
For when you come
All knees will bow
And acknowledge you as Lord

So I wait
Anticipate
Your return as Lord and Judge
Keep me strong
Bring me home
Keep me faithful till you return

He came, He gave his life for many when He died
And took away their sins
He’ll come and He’ll judge, the dead and living but give life,
To those are waiting

Fill me, with your, resurrection power, strengthen me,
To live a holy life
So on that last day, I will be waiting confident
And unashamedly!
