Popolo Air-con Unit

Traveled down to Newcastle today for a night on the town with my siblings. Out of everything the random late night shot of the air-conditioning came out best, shame. We'd been to El Torero for a Spanish meal and managed to devour an absolute mountain of food of drink for what turned out to be a very reasonable £30 each. Service wasn't the best in the world but adequate.

Me and Jen had to wait an hour more than everyone else for a taxi so we managed to grab a couple of cocktails in the always fabby Popolo.
Earlier in the day I'd been for one of the most relaxing job interviews ever, though it was out in Peebles. The company are just interviewing people to see who has skills that they lack and that will complement their existing skill set.
Driving from Peebles down to Newcastle proved difficult, we kept missing turnings and got caught behind an army convoy from Otterburn to Ponteland arriving about an hour and a half later than hoped.

Music for the journey:
Reverned and the Makers - The State Of Things
Iron Maiden - Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son
Bon Jovi - Cross Roads
Muse - Black Holes And Revelations
