Harden Show

The annual village horticultural show was well attended as ever. I had a very successful day with many prizes.

One of my personal successes was these decorated cupcakes, made to look like West Highland Terriers, I think I'll see if I can do them as Airedales next year....

However at the highlight of my day was the knitted David Hockney see here, won first prize in the category any other Handicraft, but also won the Withers Challenge Cup for best overall item of handicraft. After the disappointment of 3rd out of 3 at Bingley Show, the East Morton Knit and Knatter group are delighted! Think we will have to have the cup a month each so that we can all bask in the glory. :)
