1000 Mille Cafe

This is not just a fabulous restaurant - it is a place of kindness, generosity and hope - and tonight it was full to the brim with about 200 guests who were there for an annual fundraising dinner to support the Leukaemia Foundation.
A good friend of mine, who lost her 32 yr old brother to leukaemia 5 years ago, has been running this fund raiser for the last four years at this restaurant. The owner donates all food and services for the night. He has one huge heart! Over $30000 has been raised from this event over the last four years.
This was/is a family of musicians, and tonight a live band played throughout the evening. There was much wining, dining and dancing, but most of al there was remembering; a young musician who didn't live long enough to realise his dream. Tonight his friends and family gave all of us a reason to be there - and a night to remember. Go Annamaria!
