Time
This clock was made by my five-times great-grandfather, who died in 1793, and is officially described as a Yorkshire cottage clock. Unofficially it is a fine example of what Tim Wonnacott calls "shed ware" - i.e. it was cobbled together by some bloke in his shed. It literally falls to pieces on a regular basis, which is when I congratulate myself on having had the foresight to marry an engineer: but for the ministrations of Current Husband it would almost certainly have gone to meet its maker by now.
