Pottery day

This is where I spent Sunday - at a pottery day for beginners at West Dean College near Chichester. It was the first time I had ever used a wheel and I managed to produce three pots and a bowl by the end of the day and was really getting the hang of it. There were only eight of us on the course, so we got a fair bit of individual attention. We had to leave the pots there to be fired, and will be told when they are ready for collection. We were also allowed to choose the glazes for each one. The grounds are lovely and peaceful and I had a quick walk round after lunch.

I've been staying with my Dad for a few days and he doesn't have internet, so I'm slowly getting around to back blipping!
