Out of Season

I posted from exactly here (Grand Col du Ferret) a few weeks back (here) at the height of the Tour season - though neither blip shows it, in August it was standing room only - we had to crack on a good few hundred metres to have any chance of not being stepped on as we ate our lunch.
Today was totally different - the mountains still loomed large & fantastic - there were still gasps from the clients as they came over the brow of the Col - but it was great to be able to find a prime spot and relax on our own taking in the view.
