365 #257 - Mask #4

The 4th shot of my portrait project completed today. This lovely lady previously hated (really hated) having her photo taken but she loved the shot of her husband who was my first subject for the series and duly stepped forward to join in.
I'm absolutely loving this project and it's shaping itself as it develops.
I'll be re-shooting the third shot as I've decided I want the same perspective for all of them.
My clever girlfriend summarised the shots perfectly by saying they aren't pretty pictures but bring out the natural beauty of the subjects. I couldn't have articulated that half as well, but that was exactly what I felt.
