Blooming heck 1820

I am doing a talk about hallmarks. I was surprised to find this spoon was hallmarked in London (leopard's head) in the reign of George IV. The lion means silver and the monarch's head means duty was paid on it. The duty was originally to pay for the American War of Independance.
