the quines held a good event in torphins today - a tricky area...wealthy. the hall we were in is a council owned building and when we arrived, we were told that we were not allowed to hand out political material inside it, we would have to do that in the car park. these council owned buildings are usually managed by a committee, so we are unsure as to who exactly was imposing this rule. anyway, it takes more than silly local bureaucracy to put the quines off their stride and we went on to speak to loads of folk from the area about the benefits of independence over tea and cakes. I entertained a few kids while their mums spoke about the referendum...we spoke about pirates, angry birds and monsters :)
