238 [winter returns]

Firstly, a big 'thank you' to everyone who rated, commented, or even just stopped by to look at yesterday's 200th blip. A great day out resulted in a popular blip and I celebrated my milestone with a very welcome debut on the spotlight page!

So, the pressure was on today and after a blue sky day yesterday, today was the exact opposite. No colour in sight at all as the snow returned to Forres. The car went in for a service first thing, so I spent the morning walking around in the snow, snapping away.

The picture I settled on is of the Forres War Memorial, and since there's no colour anyway, I've converted to black and white and tinkered with the contrast. I had a picture of the same statue published in the Press & Journal in November for Remembrance, but the change of season makes it look so different.

Still in Forres tonight for dinner to celebrate Dad's Birthday - Happy Birthday Dad! The present I ordered hasn't arrived yet. Ordered on 6th December, it was meant to be Christmas present, but another had to be found, and now birthday and still nothing. Hope it's worth it when it gets here!
