On the road

Marrakech Day 4 - today, we escaped the city and headed up to the Atlas mountains. We only made it to the Ourike Valley. It was a beautiful area to visit but a real tourist trap - down to picnic tables in the river! We had a walk up to see one of the waterfalls - it was stunning.

The evening was spent in the Mamounia hotel - we had heart failure at the price of the cocktails but it had to be done. It is a beautiful hotel and so old world. The end of the evening was in the Place watching the world go by...It was very busy with lots of hassle from the locals.
