BEACH UMBRELLAS

Another backblip

Today.......

I started the day with Le Petit Déjeuner - Croissant, Bread, Marmalade, Orange Juice and Coffee.

Walked along the THE PROMENADE DES ANGLAIS

Went to THE MARINA

Got the lift up to the top of THE COLLINE DU CHATEAU- Castle Hill. Marvellous views of THE MARINA and THE OLD TOWN AND THE BEACH

Walked back down to the PROMENADE

Enjoyed a SIT DOWN in the sunshine. The weather was really warm and sunny all the time we were in Nice.

Had Salad Niçoise

Had A BOUNTY ICE CREAM

Went back to the HOTEL. Quick turnaround then out to the BEACH.

Becky and Mike went SWIMMING in the sea.

Went back to hotel to change for the evening meal. Had COCKTAILS in the hotel bar.

Walked around TOWN for a bit.

Ate VEAL WITH SAUTE POTATOES followed by CHOCOLATE CAKE WITH CREAM

( I think you may have guessed by now that I did NOT stick to the Slimming World Plan while I was in Nice. )

We had another wander around TOWN before heading back to the hotel.

Todays Forum Challenge is Water Wednesday. I was spoilt for choice today with so many water photos to choose from. I have blipped the colourful beach umbrellas. Parts of the beach are public but parts are partitioned off and have bars, sun loungers and umbrellas etc- you have to pay to enter these areas. The BEACH isn't sand - its large pebbles.
