landlocked lighthouse

meeting with friends we climbed the hill that leads up to the Hoad, seeing how far we could get with the little people in tow. Em and her new friend B racing, skipping, climbing ahead. Stopping only to perch on benches, eat blackberries and watch jumping grasshoppers. We get to the top in less time than expected and enjoy the views, something to eat and racing around the base of the monument.
