Birthday Celebrations!

I headed out to North Queensferry to attend a friend's party in order to celebrate the 50 year anniversary of the Forth Road bridge. I was actually not sure if I was going to go as I was working the next day but I am genuinely happy I did as I had such a great time. The fireworks were spectacular, some of the best I've seen and it was wonderful to catch up with friends I hadn't seen for a while. My friend's place looks right out onto the bridge so we watched the fireworks from her back garden. I never realized how lovely North Queensferry was against the backdrop of two stunning bridges. There were a few yawns at work the next day but it was worth it!
