Superb starling

Which is its name, and so label for my picture. Most people were looking at the gorillas in London Zoo's Gorilla Kingdom, but for a moment I was more interested in this colourful bird. I admit that I had to look up its name when I got home because, after taking the picture, I became more interested in the gorillas.

The family enjoyed the zoo outing, and I was happy to see some quality rodents, namely the agouti and the pouched rats. The star of the zoo for me was the slender loris, which did an amazing stretching routine (limb by limb, very slowly and very gracefully) right in front of us.
