Oak trees @ Oakdale Cemetery

Today we said a formal goodbye to a wonderful southern gentile lady. Mary Farriss was regal and is a great loss to the community. She truly looked liked that photo until the end. She has been buried in Oakdale Cemetery which is the old cemetery in town where all the old founding families are buried. It is a beautiful place with spanish moss and little twisted trees.

One of happy moments today was some friends seeing each other for the first time since high school! Tammy, Jason, Shawn, Gabe & Julie.

I have a nice rose bud on my potted bush. I was hoping to get some pictures of critters out in the acreage but it is difficult when you can't go two feet without these two mischief makers right at your feet!
